A radio station was forced off air after a fire broke out at the studio.
The blaze which started at FunkySX, Hamlet Court Road, Westcliff, on Wednesday evening (March 31), is believed to have been caused by a fault in the fuse box cupboard.
Thankfully all staff were able to evacuate unharmed but Southend Radio Station was temporarily taken off air.
Sharing the news of the fire, FunkySX said: "FunkySX experienced a fire at the studio premises yesterday evening.
"We are pleased to advise all personnel were able to vacate the building unharmed.
"It is understood the electrical fire was related to a fault in the fuse box cupboard at the building, "The FunkySX Studio and equipment is in working order and we will be back very soon."
