A man has suffered serious injuries after a crash between a car and a motorbike in South Ockendon.
Essex Police are at the scene, in Stifford Road, this afternoon.
A spokesman said: "We are on the scene of a serious collision involving a car and a motorbike in Stifford Road, South Ockendon.
"The incident took place shortly before 1.40pm today, Saturday 10 April.
"A man has suffered serious injuries.
"There are a number of road closures in place in the area, including at the junction of Stifford Road and Foyle Drive.
"We are urging people to avoid the area while we carry out our investigations."
Bus services have been rerouted due to the crash.

Ensign Bus Company is warning services in the area are unable to serve Aveley.
