Businesses across the Southend borough are preparing themselves for what they hope will be a busy weekend.
The three-day, bank holiday weekend is the first since all shops reopened after lockdown and with the weather set fair, it is hoped visitors and residents will come out in their droves and make the most of their new-found freedom.
A busy Southend envitably means busy and even full car parks, causing something of a headache for residents and tourists.
