A 13-year-old boy will face no further action over the murder of James Gibbons, police have confirmed.
Mr Gibbons, 34, was tragically stabbed to death in Iris Mews, Laindon on May 2 at around 9.30pm.
A post-mortem examination recorded Mr Gibbons’s provisional medical cause of death as stab wounds to the abdomen, an inquest in Chelmsford was told on Monday.
A 13-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of murder and was released on bail until today (May 14). He will now face no further action.
While a 14-year-old boy has been arrested in connection with the murder and has been released on bail until May 25.
It comes after a 16-year-old boy has been charged with Mr Gibbons' murder and is due in court again at a later date.
