Orsett Cock Roundabout on the A13 will be partly shut this weekend for the major construction works to bring the new Orsett West Bridge into use.
The closure takes place from 9pm on Friday 21 May until 5am on Monday 24 May.
A section of the existing roundabout will be closed, including the existing Orsett West Bridge, the A13 westbound entry slip road, and the A1013 Stanford Road eastbound between Rectory Road and Orsett Roundabout.

Overnight on Sunday, the A13 eastbound exit slip road will also be closed.
Road users are asked to plan their journey in advance to avoid the area and find alternative routes.
The work is part of the A13 Road Widening Project. The project includes widening the road between Stanford-le-Hope and Orsett, replacing 4 bridges and installing traffic lights at the Orsett Roundabout to help manage vehicle flows.
When complete, the widened section will join with the existing three-lane section of the A13, west of the A128, providing a continuous three-lane road in both directions between the M25 and Stanford-le-Hope.
