A lorry rolled down a hill and crashed into a home - sparking shock in the community.
The vehicle rolled down Clifford Close, Laindon smashing into the property at about noon today.
Images from the scene show the lorry stuck in the front of the home and damage left by the crash.
A neighbour who wished to remain anonymous said she rushed out after hearing a huge bang.
The mother-of-six said: "It was my neighbours home and I live a few doors down.
"I heard a big bang and another neighbour called and said a lorry had parked itself in a property.

"Swan Housing came down a put up a big board and there's big things holding the home up."
She said it's an accident waiting to happen and while it's not a steep hill there's still some gradient to it.
