A PAIR of former Westcliff High School for Boys pupils are encouraging youngsters to “dream big”, after their business raised a whopping $16million in capital.
Philip and Peter Klein both attended the school before embarking on their business venture in corporate banking.
The brothers now run Finlync, a cash management company which was founded in 2015, which is “taking over the corporate world”.
The company allows business to give real time viewings of bank statements to their clients. In the corporate banking world it is much more difficult than just checking a mobile app.
The brothers now hope their recent success will help with their company’s global expansion.

Peter said: “I was delivering services to corporate clients and helping them with their bank connectivity to help them manage cash payments.
“I was getting a lot of traction and a lot of corporate banks themselves started to approach me.
“In 2018 I started speaking to Phil and I was sharing with him the ideas that I had been working on.”
Philip added: “We have a suite of apps which solves cash problems for multinational banks.
“We now have a massive global network of banks.
“We’re growing rapidly and we’re planning to do a bigger fundraiser in the next year or two.
“We want to continue to hire great people and just solve more and more client problems.
“Peter has an amazing roadmap of products we want to release and bring that to the market.”
The company currently has operations in the US, Singapore and Paris, with clients in “every continent”.
The business partners are now encouraging everyone to believe in their ideas and goals.
Peter said: “It’s rewarding to work with a great team and hearing the clients’ appreciation when they see our products and our apps.
“We had this huge opportunity and now we’re able to hire amazing people and grow our products.”
Philip added: “I think in this world you have to believe it and know it’s going to happen. You really have to believe that you can do it. The biggest mistake is dreaming too small. You need to dream big and you need to believe in yourself.”
