A residents has been fined more than £2,000 and ordered to complete unpaid work after flytipping in three locations including on private farm land.
Bradley Wood of St Clare Meadow, Rochford was sentenced to a 12 Month community order and will be required to undertake 200 hours of unpaid work, after Rochford District Council brought the prosecution.
Rochford District Council is set to receive £1548.60 in compensation for the clear up costs of the fly-tips and £1000 in legal costs.
The offences by Mr Wood were carried out all in the Rochford District over an eight-month period, including at Leecon Way, Mill Lane and on privately owned farm land.

Rochford District Council’s councillor for the environment and place, Dave Sperring said: “Fly-tipping across Essex is costing taxpayers’ money to clear up – money that could have been better spent on vital services.”
“Fly-tipping is a serious criminal offence, it damages our environment, it is unsightly to look at but we can proudly say our dedicated Street Scene team work very hard to tackle this issue head on”
