TEENAGE boys have been charged after a stabbing in Leigh.
The teenagers, aged 15 and 17, will appear at court today following the attack in The Broadway on Thursday night.
The victim, also a teenager, was stabbed at around 8.50pm.
He was taken to hospital for further treatment, but his injuries are not considered to be life threatening or life changing.
The 17-year-old from Leigh has been charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent, possession of an offensive weapon and possession of a Class B drug in relation to the incident.
The 15-year-old boy from Westcliff has been charged with two counts of possession of a bladed article.
They will appear in Chelmsford Magistrates’ Court today.

A third boy, aged 15, who was arrested in connection with the investigation will face no further action.
Police are still appealing for information on the attack.
