A superhero and classic movie character rocked up on Southend seafront yesterday.
Spiderman and Indiana Jones were spotted mixing with daytrippers by Echo Camera Club members Michael Walker and Kaleigh Potter.
And whilst they may not have been required to save or rescue anyone from anyone villains, they were still doing their bit for good causes.
They are part of the Thundersley Superhero Alliance, which aims to bring fun and laughter to the people of south Essex, all while raising money for Havens Hospice.
The alliance formed in 2017 and features a group of individuals who go around dressed up as superheroes and movie characters.
It was Indianna Jones' first ever appearance for the alliance yesterday, and if the photos are anything to go by, he was certainly a big hit among sunseekers and youngsters.
Both he and Spiderman were spotted enjoying some refreshments and even going on one of the open top buses - although Indianna Jones opted to hang from the top rather than sit and enjoy the view.
Superhero fan Simon Haven helped set up the Thundersley Superhero Alliance four years ago.
Speaking to the Echo in May, he said the group now has 22 members and has raised a whopping £8,000 for Havens Hospice.
