THOUSANDS of illegal cigarettes have been seized from a shop in Southend.
A whopping 12,560 of the illegal cigarettes were seized in the raid on the shop, which also saw 10.3kg of hand rolling tobacco taken.
Police and trading standards stormed the shop on June 7.
Illegal shisha and hooka flavoured tobacco was also seized.

A spokesman from Essex Police, said: "On June 7, our Community Policing Team and Trading Standards visited a shop in Southend following reports that the shop had been selling illegal tobacco products.
"Unfortunately children manage to get hold of these products.
"These products can have a damaging effect the health of those who use the products due to the harmful chemicals found in them."
A spokesman from Southend Trading Standards, added: "Southend Trading Standards and Essex Police visited a Southend shop and seized a large quantity of illegal tobacco products.
"We will continue to pursue those premises that persist in selling these dangerous products."
