HUGE swathes of litter were removed from Southend's beaches this morning after daytrippers left the bins piled high.
Pictures have revealed the beach bins full to the brim and overflowing in some cases.
Some bins were reportedly on fire yesterday afternoon.
Southend Council and waste firm Veolia launched a huge clean up operation to deal with the litter.
