TWO men were taken to hospital after being stabbed.
Police were called to Benfleet Road at around 1.10am on Saturday to reports of two people injured.
It was reported that they had been attacked by a group of people who had left on foot.
Witnesses saw the area cordoned off and a police presence throughout the night.
One witness said a police car was kept outside a property until Saturday daytime.
Both injured men were taken to hospital for treatment but their injuries are not described as life-threatening.

Two men - aged 20 and 18 - and a 17-year-old boy have been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm.
All three have been released on bail until July 11.
