POLICE seized a vehicle after catching the driver go the wrong way down a busy road in Southend.
British Transport Police officers were on patrol in the town on Friday when they witnesses the Mercedes drive the wrong way down Victoria Avenue.
The driver was also found to have invalid insurance and an invalid licence.

A spokesman said: "Response officers were on patrol late last night when they witnessed a car driving the wrong way down Victoria Ave in Southend.
"The driver also had an invalid licence and invalid insurance.
"The driver won't be putting others in danger any time soon."
