A teenager is set to appear in court today charged with 20 robbery offences.
The 16 year-old, who cannot been named due to his age, was arrested yesterday (Friday July 9).
It comes as part of an investigation into a series of incidents which took place in Southend High Street between June 5 and June 30 where mobile phones were stolen.
He has also been charged with possession with intent to supply heroin.
He is due to appear at Chelmsford Magistrates’ Court this morning (July 10).
