An arson attack was launched in the middle of the night, with a car, motorbike and ground floor flat all hit by the blaze.
Firefighters were called to a vehicle fire in Pevensey Close, Pitsea, at 12.15am on Saturday (July 10).
When they arrived, crews found that a car and a motorbike were on fire and that the fire had spread to a ground floor flat.
Thanks to their efforts, the fire was extinguished by 1am.
Unfortunately, both the car and the motorbike were destroyed in the fire while some cladding and PVC window frames on the nearby flats were damaged.
A fence panel and outbuilding were also affected by the fire, which has been recorded as deliberate by the fire service.
