A SEAFRONT pub is set to re-open it's doors "in a few weeks time" after it was forced to close after repaeted Covid breaches.
The previous manager of the Falcon, on Marine Parade, had allowed punters to break Covid rules, with it understood customers were failing to wear masks.
Southend Council issued a prohibition notice to the manager.
Greene King then closed the pub to employ a new manager.
It's now hoped the pub will re-open later this month.

A spokesman from Greene King, said: "We’re currently carrying out some redecorating work at the Falcon as we have found a new operator to take on the tenancy at the pub.
"The current plan is for it to reopen in a few weeks’ time for the Southend community.”
