A TEENAGER was stabbed in the arm following an altercation in Southend on Saturday night.
Police are appealing for witnesses after a 16-year-old boy from Romford was stabbed during an assault in Eastern Esplanade at 7pm.
He was taken to hospital for treatment for his injuries and has since been discharged.
Officers carried out a search of the area for the suspect and continue to carry out enquiries which include reviewing CCTV.
The investigation into the circumstances remain ongoing and police are appealing for anyone who was in the area at the time and saw what happened or has any information to come forward.
