A TEENAGE boy has been given a tagged curfew after breaching a gang injunction in Southend - less than two months after being given the order.
The 14-year-old boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, appeared at Southend Youth Court following a breach of a gang injunction in Southend on July 14.
The teen was found in Marine Parade in Southend associating with another person which he was banned from doing so by an injunction made on May 28 this year.
He was caught on CCTV.
The magistrates' bench gave the boy another gang injunction for six months where he must attend appointments with a responsible officer.
He was also given a curfew to run from 8pm to 4am every day for a period of 22 days.
In April, 15 teenagers from the Leigh Lot or O Block gangs were banned from entering parts of Leigh, Southend and Rayleigh.
One 17-year-old boy, a member of the Leigh lot gang, breached the order in May by visiting Leigh Library Gardens and was detained.
