A police presence was spotted in Leigh last night.
Multiple police cars and a police van were spotted in Leigh's Old Town at around 10.40pm yesterday (July 21).
Officers were visible near The Peterboat on the High Street, although the circumstances behind their arrival are not yet known.

Residents have reported that arrests were made, but nothing has been confirmed as of yet.
Essex Police have been contacted for comment.
