A BMW has been seized by police after the driver was found to be cruising the streets without insurance.
Essex Police’s Operational Support Group (OSG) joined officers from Southend Police in patrols around Southend and Leigh today.
A white BMW caught officers’ attention and the driver was pulled over.
Police called in the vehicle and it was discovered the driver was driving without insurance.
The driver was reported and the vehicle was seized.
An Essex OSG spokesperson said: “Whilst assisting Essex Police Southend attending incidents and conducting extra patrols in Southend and Leigh-On-Sea this BMW caught our attention. The vehicle has no insurance and has been seized. Driver has been reported.”
