THE Cliffs Pavilion is opening its doors for the first time since restrections were lifted - with two gigs sold out already.
Taking to the stage this weekend is Jimmy Carr with his Terribly Funny Tour.
Theatres were badly hit during the pandemic, with them only being allowed to open at full capacity on July 19.
Trafalgar Entertainment announced it's excitement as Southend theatre is the first of its venues to reopen this weekend.
A spokesperson said: "We’re delighted to be reopening Southend Theatre this weekend, the first of our regional venues to open since the lifting of lockdown restrictions, with the one and only Jimmy Carr performing two SOLD OUT gigs as part of his Terribly Funny Tour."
