A DISPERSAL order will be in place on Canvey this weekend.
The order will last for the entirety of this weekend following reports that a planned car meet may relocate to the area.
The order has been authorised from 3pm tomorrow until 3am on Monday and will cover the area mapped, including Roscommon Way and parts of the A130.
A dispersal order does not prevent residents or visitors being in the area, but allows officers to disperse anyone behaving antisocially.
Breaching any direction given under the order is a criminal offence and, if you do, you could be arrested.
It comes as a new public space protection order has been put in place for Leigh from this weekend.
