A FRESH weather warning for thunderstorms has been issued by the Met Office covering Southend, Rochford, Castle Point and Basildon.
The yellow weather warning is in place from midday today (Saturday) to midnight tonight.
The Met Office says thunderstorms may lead to some disruption to travel during Saturday afternoon and evening.
It follows a series of weather warnings over the past week as Storm Ever gathered pace.

Here's what to expect:
- There is a good chance driving conditions will be affected by standing water and possibly hail, leading to longer journey times by car and bus
- Delays to train services are possible
- Flooding of a few homes and businesses is possible
- Some short term loss of power is possible, as is damage to a few buildings or structures from lightning strikes
