TWO men wearing balaclavas threatened to stab their victims before stealing their bags in a terrifying incident on Canvey.
Police are appealing for help with dashcam footage following the theft in Canvey Road, Canvey, close to Waterside Farm Sports Centre on August 12.
Between 8pm and 8.10pm, the two victims were walking towards Benfleet rail station when they noticed the occupants of a vehicle paying close attention to them, police said.

The vehicle had parked up and two of the occupants approached the victims, threatened to stab them and demanded their bags, which were handed over.
The suspects left in the vehicle and headed towards Roscommon Way.
The vehicle is described as a small black hatchback, possibly a Renault Clio.
The suspects are described as being two males wearing dark clothing and balaclavas.
An Essex Police spokesman said: "If you were in the area at the time and noticed anything suspicious or have dash cam footage when passing through, then please call Castle Point and Rochford CID on 101, online or using our ‘livechat’ service on our website, quoting investigation reference 42/166167/21."
