A SAFETY team helped reunited a missing child with their family.
The Southend Community Safety Team were on patrols during a busy day at the seafront yesterday when they were made aware of the missing child near the beach.
A spokesman for Safer Southend said: "A missing child was located & reunited with their parents on the seafront.

"This is a regular part of the CSO role, particularly in the summer time.
"Elsewhere a large protest was managed with as minimum disruption as possible and usual targeted patrols undertaken."
