A POLICE officer was attacked while making an arrest on Southend seafront.
The officer, who was arresting a man on Marine Parade, was injured in the attack.
A man was arrested and remains in custody.
The officer wasn't left with any serious injuries.
This comes after several officers were injured at Adventure Island on Friday, during a major incident which saw the park evacuated.

A spokesman from the Essex Police Operation Support Group, said: "A wanted male for aggravated burglary was spotted on Marine Parade in Southend.
"He was safely detained with no serious injuries to any officers and is now in custody."
