KFC has unveiled plans to set up a new restaurant in south Essex.
The fast-food chain has submitted a planning application to convert the former Coral betting shop at 126 High Street, in Billericay.
Few details of the plans are available in the planning documents, but drawings show the restaurant area would be at the front of the building, with a kitchen and storage behind.
A seating area and self-service kiosks would be installed under the plans.
KFC has previously stated it was looking to bring a drive-thru restaurant to Billericay.
But the chain now appears to be looking to add a high street restaurant instead.
No date is given for when the new site could open, with Basildon Council set to rule on the application later this year.
The nearest KFCs to Billericay are in Basildon, Laindon and Brentwood.
KFC has been contacted for comment.
