EASTENDERS actor, Danny Dyer took a trip to a Westcliff shop and delighted the staff with his polite manors during a day of filming BBC’s Antiques Road Trip.
The 44-year-old actor and presenter visited Sally’s Out of Curiosity, an antique shop on London Road, Westcliff, on Sunday. He arrived at 4:30 pm and spent four hours there, during the breaks he popped out onto the streets to chat to fans.
The BBC team called the shop on Friday and asked if they could use the Westcliff venue after previously using it in 2013.
Sally Tyrine, 70, the owner of Sally’s Out of Curiosity said “Danny was a true gentleman, he never stopped thanking me for letting them film in the shop.
“Danny came into the shop with one of the experts from the show, they picked some lovely items from my shop which they will auction for charity.
“He had a lot of patients with his fans, he had a load of people asking him for pictures and he was able to get round to everyone with a smile on his face.”
