EXTRA patrols have been deployed to stations across south Essex following a "spike" in assaults on staff.
British Transport Police have been deployed along with teams from London to stations in Thurrock this week following the attacks.
The police used teams from Essex and London and also deployed units from their dog section.

The force said since the action this week there have been fewer incidents.
A spokesman said: "We had a spike of anti-social behaviour and staff assaults on c2c Rail in Chafford and Tilbury.
"We asked some of our mates to give us a hand from BTP London, BTP Underground, BTP Specials, BTP Dog Section all provided additional patrols.
"Anti-social behaviour and assaults have since declined rapidly."
