PICTURES show the aftermath of a crash this morning, which saw a person to hospital.
Emergency services were called to the scene on Nevendon Road in Wickford at around 8.13am, with an air ambulance landing nearby.
The Echo understands a girl was hit by a car.
It's believed she was left with a broken leg following the crash.
This has yet to be confirmed.

A spokesman from the East of England ambulance service, said: "We were called at 8.13am with report of a crash in Nevendon Road, Wickford.
"We sent an ambulance, ambulance officer, rapid response vehicle and Essex and Herts Air Ambulance.
"One person is being taken to hospital by land ambulance for further care."
