Social Shakes at Lakeside
A NEW milkshake and ice cream store has opened at Lakeside, to the delight of customers and shoppers.
Social Shakes opened their new takeaway store at the shopping centre on Sunday, with the Mayor of Thurrock Sue Shinnick getting involved.
The mayor opted for a honeycomb crunch milkshake once the ribbon cutting ceremony had concluded.

The Thurrock based business now has ambitions to open more stores across the UK.
Councillor Shinnick said: “After this challenging period, it’s great seeing a new, local business emerge with exciting plans.”
The menu includes milkshakes and ice cream tubs with a variety of flavours.
