A man was pushed to the ground and repeatedly kicked and punched during an attack in Southend.
A police probe has now been launched into the assault which took place in Marine Parade, at 1.50am on Sunday August 22.
The victim, who is in his 20s, was pushed to the ground and repeatedly kicked and punched.
He was then taken to hospital for treatment.

Essex Police are now encouraging anyone who may be able to aid them with their investigation to come forward.
