Lorry overturns on A13 slip road with tonnes of rubbish covering car park
A lorry has overturned on a busy slip road - leaving tonnes of rubbish in a supermarket car park.
The vehicle is on its side with the drivers cab smashed on the A13 slip road in Pitsea.
Images show tonnes of rubbish covering part of the Tesco Pitsea car park.
Witnesses say thankfully no shoppers were parked there.
One said: "It's the top par of the car park at the back where no one parks luckily. Apparently it has happened before. The drivers cab is partially crushed, however the rescue team said he was ok."
Drivers are facing delays on the slip road.
Essex Police and Tesco have been contacted for comment.
