Thousands of people will flock to Garon Park in Southend this evening to watch Craig David perform.
The singer’s show has been rescheduled on numerous occasions due to the coronavirus pandemic.
But he will finally take to the stage this evening and belt out his classic hits – such as 7 Days and Fill Me In - after months of waiting.
He will be joined by a full live band and a number of special guests who will be supporting him throughout the evening.
For those fans who’ve yet to get tickets, there are still a handful left for tonight’s gig.
Tickets start from £37 but VIP access is no longer available for the event.
Gates will open at 5pm and the concert is expected to continue until 11.30pm.
Speaking to the Echo earlier this month, Jacqui Dallimore, managing director of the Roslin Hotel, revealed she had taken bookings specifically for tonight’s event.
The chair of Southend Tourism Partnership, said: “Southend is buzzing and this can only help.
“I absolutely love Craig David, and we’ve actually had people book in that are coming to see him, it’s fantastic.
“If you get one giant name then the others tend to follow. So I hope this will be the start of lots of big names coming to the town."
