The media has been covering Britney Spears and her controversial conservatorship for the best part of a year. The arrangement that gives family members complete control of her life has been the subject of much criticism and speculation.
Documentaries began being made covering the pop stars situation, including ‘Free Britney’ which aired last year.
The makers of ‘Free Britney’ have now released ‘Controlling Britney Spears’, a new documentary that features interviews with key insiders and those with first-hand information about the conservatorship that has controlled the pop star’s life.
Britney Spears called the conservatorship “an oppressive and controlling tool against her”, and for the first time viewers will be able to see and hear just how controlling it was.

The documentary will also be available on demand.
What time is it on?
Controlling Britney Spears airs at 9pm.
Britney Spears recently announced her engagement to fiancé, Sam Asghari.
“I’m so blessed it’s insane” she gushed on Instagram. The couple had been dating for almost five years.
