Amazon has created 750 new jobs in Essex ahead of the busy Christmas period.
The firm is looking to fill hundreds of positions at its fulfilment centre in Tilbury, as well as at delivery stations in Basildon and Harlow.
It is part of a recruitment drive that will see 20,000 new temporary jobs created by Amazon at centres across the country.
Delivery stations in Basildon and Harlow are offering between £13 to £15 per hour to fill Flex worker positions, which allows workers to deliver parcels in their spare time.
They can choose how often they work.
Pay for operational roles starts at a minimum of £10 an hour, and rising to £11.10 in some parts of the UK.
This is the same for any full-time, part-time, temporary, or seasonal roles in Amazon’s fulfilment centres, sort centres and delivery stations.
Amazon’s Tilbury fulfilment centre General Manager, Carlos Guijarro Benito said: "We prepare year-round for the festive season, and we’re excited to have around 750 positions available this year in Essex.
"Our seasonal associates play an integral role in helping us deliver an exceptional experience for our customers.
"We look forward to welcoming back seasonal workers who return year-after-year to Amazon and to welcome new faces to the team, many of whom will continue on to full-time roles with the company after the festive period."
