A MAN has been charged after a car was driven at a group of people at Festival Leisure Park in Basildon.
A man wan rushed to hospital with a serious injury in the early hours of Sunday morning following the incident.
Shaquille Mathurin, 25, of Magnolia Close, in London, has been charged with GBH with intent, dangerous driving, possession of cannabis and driving without insurance.
He is due to appear at Southend Magistrates Court this morning.

A spokesman from Essex Police, said: "A man is due to appear in court today charged in connection with an incident at Festival Leisure Park, in Basildon.
"The incident took place shortly before 4.30am on Sunday morning.
"A car had been driven at a group of people and one man was taken to hospital with a serious leg injury.He is due to appear at Southend Magistrates’ Court this morning."
