AN air ambulance has landed at the scene of a serious crash in south Essex this morning.
A car has reportedly crashed onto its side at the junction of Church Road and Lower Road in Hullbridge.
The vehicle crashed into a building, Essex Police confirmed.
Witnesses report an air ambulance has landed nearby.
The road has been closed as a result of the crash.
The AA has reported that one vehicle is involved.

A spokesman from the policing team in Rochford, said: "We are in attendance at road traffic collision in Lower Road in Hullbridge.
"The road is currently closed whilst the emergency services carry out their work and we are urging motorists to avoid the area."
A spokesman from the force, added: We are at the scene of a serious crash in Church Road, Hockley.
"We were contacted shortly after 7.15am this morning, Friday 29 October, with reports of a car in collision with a building.
"We would ask drivers to avoid the area and look for alternative routes whilst we are on scene and dealing with the incident.
"The road is likely to be closed for some time.
"Witnesses and anyone with dash cam footage is asked to contact us quoting incident 170 of 29 October."
Essex Police and the East of England Ambulance Service have both been contacted for comment.
