A ROAD will be closed "for some time" after a car ploughed into a building this morning.
A vehicle crashed into a building on Church Road, Hockley, around 7.15am, in a serious crash.
An air ambulance landed at the scene shortly afterwards.
Essex Police have warned drivers to avoid the area, with the road closed.
Witnesses report that the car had "flipped onto its side."

A spokesman from Essex Police, said: "We are at the scene of a serious crash in Church Road, Hockley.
"We were contacted shortly after 7.15am this morning, Friday 29 October, with reports of a car in collision with a building.
"We would ask drivers to avoid the area and look for alternative routes whilst we are on scene and dealing with the incident.
"The road is likely to be closed for some time.
"Witnesses and anyone with dash cam footage is asked to contact us quoting incident 170 of 29 October."
