Two men charged in connection with death of Luke Bellfield
Two people have been charged in connection with the death of Luke Bellfield.
The 18-year-old died from his injuries following an incident in Old Leigh. He suffered a stab wound to the heart near to the Peterboat pub, in High Street, on February 26.
Louis Dawkins, 20, of Lodge Close, Rayleigh and Flynn Symonds, 32, of Homesdale Road, Bromley were arrested following the altercation in which Luke was fatally injured in February this year.
They have now been charged with possession of a bladed article and violent disorder.
Symonds has also been charged with possession of an offensive weapon.
They are due to appear at Southend Magistrates’ Court on 29 November.
