A DISQUALIFIED drug driver who took cocaine before getting behind the wheel has been banned from the roads for three years.
Christopher James Davies, 35, of Fairfax Road, Colchester, appeared at Colchester Magistrates’ Court on October 27 charged with four offences.
During the hearing he admitted driving a Peugeot 206 in Butt Road with cocaine in his system, while not wearing a seat belt, while disqualified, and without insurance.
As a result Davies has been disqualified from driving for three years and ordered to carry out 100 hours of community service and pay a fine of £195.
