KATIE Price is reportedly eager to marry her fiancé Carl Woods before her sentencing for drink-driving next month.
Following a car crash on the B2135 near Partridge Green, the Brighton-born celebrity pleaded guilty to drink driving, driving while disqualified and driving without insurance.
At court, she was told her sentence would be deferred on the condition that she have treatment at the Priory Centre – a rehab-style therapy site for addiction, depression, anxiety and stress-related issues.
A source close to Katie has claimed that the former glamour model is keen to marry her fiancé Carl Woods before her sentencing on December 15, according to The Sun.
Carl proposed to Katie in April this year, but the pair are in a “huge rush” to tie the knot.
"She’s told Carl she wants to be Mrs Woods as soon as possible so it’s full steam ahead on the wedding plans," the source said.
In an interview on Good Morning Britain in May, Katie revealed she wanted to get married “before the end of the year”, so her terminally ill mother could see her walk down the aisle.
Katie has been married three times before to Peter Andre, Alex Reid and Kieran Hayler - but she's always kept her own surname.
Following the crash earlier this year, the 43-year-old was heard telling police “I took drugs, I should not be driving, I admit it all”, the court heard.
A drugs wipe gave a positive reading for cocaine, prosecutor Debbie Jones said.
A statement made through her family said: “Kate acknowledges and takes full responsibility for her actions.
“She knows they were wrong and apologises. Kate is deeply loved, and she loves her family.
“We are all there for her right now – and her children, who she loves dearly, are giving her strength as a mum.”
Driving while above the legal limit or unfit through drink has a maximum penalty of six months in prison, or an unlimited fine. Driving while disqualified comes with the same penalty.
Prior to the crash, Katie Price was hospitalised in an alleged attack.
She sustained a facial injury during the incident in Little Canfield, Essex, on August 23.
A 32-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of assault, theft and coercive and controlling behaviour.
