Fireworks were launched in a shopping centre - sparking extra police patrols.
The incidents took place at the Eastgate Shopping Centre in Basildon on Monday, Tuesday and Friday.
A video shared on social media showed a firework being lit and bright flashes in the centre.
There were also a number of residents and witnesses who took to social media to post about the incidents.

A spokesman for the Eastgate Shopping Centre said: "Eastgate is aware of an incident involving fireworks, which the Police are investigating.
"We are grateful to the Police for providing an increased presence at Eastgate in response. There were individual incidents on Monday, Tuesday and Friday."
Essex Police has been contacted for comment.
