A teenager has been arrested after fireworks were reportedly set-off and directed at a KFC in south Essex.
The Echo reported last week the restaurant in Benfleet had been targeted by a group of around 30 yobs.
Fireworks had also been aimed at passing vehicles in London Road overnight on Sunday, October 31.
Police have confirmed in an update today (Tuesday, November 9) that a 17-year-old boy has been arrested in connection with the incident.
Detectives are also investigating reports of further antisocial behaviour in Benfleet and Canvey in the past week involving fireworks.

Insp Cathy Calder said: “Antisocial behaviour, such as that seen last weekend on London Road, Benfleet, is not acceptable.
“Our Officers are in the community at these busy times, working to keep everyone safe, but the challenge is large.
“We need to work with the community to counteract this behaviour.
“We continue to work with the schools and youth groups to educate and encourage our young people not to engage in this activity, and we appreciate all of the engagement and information which has since been provided by our community.”
