easyJet is already offering seats for flights from Southend Airport next summer.
The budget airline has announced today it will be making its return to the airport from May next year following a U-turn.
Bosses have revealed the first outbound flight from Southend will take place on May 1 to Majorca.
The second outgoing flight will take place the following day, this time to Malaga.
Flights to Majorca will then take place four times a week on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.
Meanwhile, there will be flights six days a week to Malaga, with Saturday the only day there will not be a flight.

Prices to Malaga start from £23 in May and June.
The cheapest price in July is £36 and in August, £34.
Flights to Majorca meanwhile start from £22 in May, £30 in June, £32 in July and £25 in August.
The flights schedule on the easyJet website shows services will run up until the end of October.
Package holidays are also available to book for next summer in both destinations from Southend Airport through easyJet holidays.
All easyJet holidays include flights, accommodation, 23kg of hold luggage and transfers on beach breaks.
