A WEDDING ring was stolen from an elderly man while he was receiving treatment at a hospital.
Essex Police have launched an investigation after a wedding ring was snatched from a patient in his 70s at Basildon Hospital.
The theft of the treasured piece of jewellery is suspected to have taken place at about 3pm on November 25.
Anyone who recognises the ring, believes they may have been offered it for sale, or has any other information, is urged to contact the police.
