Budget store B and M appears set to open a new store in Basildon.
The firm is advertising jobs for a new shop in Pitsea, with bosses looking to fill manager and supervisor positions.
The roles have been listed on B and M’s website, with the closing date set for January 31.
A map on the page also suggests the new shop will be based off Hazelmere/ High Road near the Tesco supermarket.
A description on the page adds: “This is a brand new store and we are looking for Shop Floor, Customer Service and Replenishment Managers to join the team on a permanent basis to support the Store Management team in the running of the store, ensuring that you deliver the best store standards through our teams for our customers.

“All roles are full time and require the flexibility to work shifts during the day, evening and weekend.”
Salaries for the supervisor role are listed as £9.21 per hour, while the manager role is competitive.
What site currently vacant in the area is the old Go Outdoors building.
The long-standing store announced a closing down sale last autumn ahead of plans to shut permanently.
B and M declined to comment on its plans for a new store in Pitsea.
