Here we're inviting the community, loved ones and readers to share tributes and kind messages for 18-year-old Kacper Ksiazek.

The young man - named by friends - died after falling from a car park in Southend town centre on Wednesday night.

An online funding page has been launched to raise £5,000, as close friends paid tribute to the man they describe as “such a massive soul”.

Police and ambulance crews were alerted shortly before 8.45pm on Wednesday night, following concerns for the welfare of a man at the car park at Victoria Plaza, off Southend High Street.

Now the online page has collected £3,426 of the £5,000 goal.

Friends on the page have written: “In such a difficult time we ask for any help we can from family, friends or anyone that is willing to support the funding towards a send-off and funeral for Kas.

“Kas had such a massive soul, filled with such an energy that could fill a room with laughter reducing people to tears with the stuff he come out with.

“He had the strongest heart for his friends and his close family.”

Appealing for help, friends say: “Words cannot even touch upon the feeling you get after losing a friend or family.

“We would like to ask for the help of any friends, family or anyone that could help with raising the funds for Kacper’s send off and funeral costs.”
