A conservatory was damaged after a fire broke out at a home in Thundersley.
Essex Fire Service says no one was injured in the blaze and is reminding people not to overload electrical circuits following the incident.
Crews from Basildon and Rayleigh Weir were called to a property in Manor Road around 11.30pm on Sunday where they found a fire had broken out in a conservatory.
They had to use thermal imaging equipment to help them put the flames out.

The fire was extinguished within an hour and no other parts of the home were damaged.
An investigation found the cause of the blaze was accidental.
Crew manager Rob Maclean issued safety advice in the wake of the incident and called on people to follow the fire service’s tips to using electricity.
He said: “Please don’t overload electrical sockets and if you need advice on keeping your home safe please get in touch with our home safety team who will be happy to help.”
